Sorry lol if your asking if it can be done ........Yes it can . You can go about fueling it by using a 5-7 psi electric inline pump . Or if im not mistaken you can use a earlier model timing cover and fuel pump eccentric for the mechanical
pump. As far as ignition goes get a duraspark dizzy with vacuum advance and ignition module with a coil and ballast resistor .
Or you could just get a points dizzy and coil lol

And to clarify my first post im rebuilding a 41 chevy pickup and I put a 94mustang gt in it. And since the 41 needed to be rewired a d thats probably pretty costly I figured I would go to carb instead

Its not a matter of loosing or gaining any hp. You could achieve either or. depending on what intake you choose and what carb you choose.
Its more a matter of weight/Hp ratio.
Your pushing 1500 more pounds of steel ..

Since the OP is nearly unreadable and I have a similar question, I'm gonna go ahead and hijack this thread for a sec. Apologies in advance.
I have an 85 GT with the engine pulled (and mostly gone, but I still have the intake mani). I picked up a low miles 91 5.0 engine with no EFI and GT40 heads that I want to retrofit a Carb setup on. I'm leaning towards a 650cfm double pumper as this will primarily see road course/autocross duty. I'd like to run an external electric fuel pump in lieu of finding a new timing cover, mech fuel pump, and cam eccentric.
Any articles/resources to get me started? I'm sort of new to the game here and I'm not totally sure what I'm gonna need. What are the "gotcha" parts that are gonna come up in the course of the swap?
