Hey Guys,

Here is another video of the tune, better quality. This car is a bone stock 2012 that we just threw the tune in to show the idle. I think you can hear it better than our other video even though the exhaust is stock.

We are working on a video with cam idle on a car with exhaust, its just the car and the video camera are not in the same spot right now.

http://youtu.be/c4qrA_kkSss

Thanks

TJ

I could have sworn i read bama was doing this a while back for the 4v's. But either had problems with it, or ford asked them to stop. Cant remember which.

Either way cool wish i had a 5.0 to get it on

Hmm this idle is sweet. Kind of the one I have been looking for. How much is it? I have yet to get an exhaust system for my car so if the video is the one with stock exhaust then this is how it is going to sound.

The cam idle tune is its own, complete, separate tune and they are currently being offer at $90.00.

Yes the video is with a stock exhaust, you can follow some of the other convesations we have been having here:

So I'm definitely thinking about getting this tune, but I have a couple quick questions.

First, how much, or at all, does it affect gas mileage?

Second, will all I need to buy is say a tuner, and the tune obviously, to get it installed?

It doesn't affect the gas mileage at cruise.

That is correct. Let me know if I can help you with that.

Well I didn't expect it to at cruise being an idle tune, I'm just curious how much extra gas its going to chew up at idle, it won't affect me choosing to buy this tune, only how often I might use it.

Wont be getting this though for a few months when I can afford to get the 2013, also going to have to wait for the auto tune to come out

There is a little extra fuel used at idle, but it won't affect your gas mileage unless you plan on letting your car idle for a half hour showing off the cam idle. If you were to let a stock/normal idle car idle that long it would be almost the same thing.

The biggest thing that affects gas mileage is how you drive the vehicle. Fuel consumption at idle, although relevant, is far from the biggest factor.
