I got into a little dispute at a car show with this kid about how his 03 quad cab hemi can beat any stock GT's under 1998, he said he raced his freind who had a stock 96GT(his freind is supposedly a good driver) and won. Now could this be true or is he b/s? Also to put down his little theory about gt's we went down a little back street and raced and I killed him, my car not stock but its close.

there are S*** talkers every where! I know some. they are the best to beat in races:D! you have to remeber that there are alot of sn95s out there and most of them are beat because people get them and dont know how to take care of there cars

What should a 1/4 mile time for a sn95 be? My buddies hemi put down 15.53 stock. Yeah it was fun to shut him up.

I have seen some do it in about 13-14 sec. I think they where stock. I have not got my time yet because the tracks wont open for like 2 more months and I just got this 97 GT in the fall.

Those Hemi's are bad assed..but they aren't unbeatable...Well...with a V8 anyway[8D]

Stock a manual SN95 GT will break into the high 14's, mid 14's at best.. An auto SN95 will break into the low 15's... You will never ever ever ever ever see a stock SN95 on stock tires with no weight removal run a 13.99 from the factory. They dont have the hp... and they arent trapping at a high enough speed.

Those quad cabs arent that quick because of their size... but I wouldnt be at all suprised to find one in the low 15's high 14's. Hell, the SRT8 Grand Cherokee they just released does a mid 13 [:@]

Are you talking about the pushrods motors or the mods motors car's cause i seriously doubt a 96-98 5 speed car will come anywhere close to mid 14's stock...
