I've been Challenged!!!!!
Ok, this might be long but I think it's warranted.Got to work today and the wannabe biker boys were on e-bay lookin for parts. this 1 dude who works in another section starts spoutin off to me about how his car would kick the livin s**t out of mine, and how American V8's suck soooo bad. He has a 1985 supra which I heard through the Grapevine, he's putting a 2JZ Engine in it. Don't know if it's turbo'd or not. He won't say squat about what's in it. I think it's a N/A but he's puttin a single turbo on it. Appraently, this ***** heard how some of his ricer homies on 750's could not leave me in the dust and I pulled thier asses through 3 gears before I let off. Then he really pissed me off saying 4.6's suck *** and how dudes buy 96+'s and put push rod motors in them just to make decent power. Basically he's talkin out of his ***...I won't lie to you, I'm a bit concerned. When it comes to those ricer straight sixes, he know's his S**t! But I also know mine...I wont run him until I get most of my mods done by like July. His car will be way lighter than mine. But I doubt he knows how to get it to hook. I think that's where I'll get him, on the take off....And by then I should have the T-trim on...So what do you think? Should I engage this ***** for the honor of all domestics or do I need a Bigger gun?
Coming in the mail: T-trim,JBA Midlegnths, VT Custom cams, p-51,75mm,4.30's, built shortblock already in.....
Oh Yeah! He also had the whole office laughin about how he wanted to bring me on PINKS and take my "rustang" from me....PISSED!!!!!

Dude, destroy that POS jap crap.
Its this stuff that pisses me off the most cause where I live kids (im 19 but im talkin 16 year olds) think its the coolest thing to take their moms civic put a fart pipe and a few stickers and race like sh*t.
I think after ur mods ull have a nice pull on him.

Be wary of built engine supras. If he has a single turbo setup and a decent motor it is not gonna be pretty unless you can put down some serious RWHP. I have heard of stock motor supras making 800+ RWHP.
DONT race him from a roll.

Got an S-trim, 3.73's, 70mm....little this and that....this is the thing, I love american Iron...that may sound ate up, but that's me...nothing like the sound on a cammed V8...But if some dude likes imports, then so be it...just don't knock what I like...and when they get lippy, OFF WITH THIER HEADS!!!!!!

And whatever you do don't let him spool that damn turbo up before take off. If you can avoid it I suggest it. Like he said, put a 150, hell maybe even higher with a built. Get Drag radials as well.

Fk em. Ask him why he is motor swapping if his engine and setup is so great.
