I've got a 97 V6 mustang auto (my mods are CAI and flowmaster muffler)(his mods dual exhaust and a K&N fitler. The other guy has the same car except its a 5 speed. Anyway this guy has been talking crap ever since he got his car and everytime I see him he's like "u wanna run'em" my response is always "lets do it" and everytime the guy ends up making up some excuse why he doesn't want to run. Well tonight I go up to my local grocery store and I see him there and he says the usual "want to run them" and I said sure. After I got what I needed I went out to my car and waited until he got to his car and then I followed him out of the parking lot and onto the road he takes off quickly and then slows down, I get next to him at 50mph and he punches right away and I do the same. He jumped on me a little but I was quickly neck and neck with him and at about 70mph I started to inch a little on him. When he shut down at 80mph I had about a foot on him. So I guess it was a semi kill. I didn't get a chance to race him from a stop cuz he turn was coming up. All in all it was a good race. Sorry this was so long.

good kill. most autos will win from a roll. keep off the line and you will do well.

I have raced two stangs just like mine and they were both 5 speeds and I beat both of them. I still want to get one like mine from a stop just to see what will happen.

Auto Mustangs suck from a roll. Trust me I own one. From a 60mph roll they are even, 5-50 the Auto will at least be behind 1-3 cars.
