SUV's??

So yea you guys hate these threads on who would win, I know. :)

My buddy has an 04 Nissan Murano and never really gives mustangs their credit. So basically would he even have a chance at me? I know those things have awd and like 245 hp or something, but otehr than that I don't know much about them. All I have done is lm1 catback, other than that it's stock.

So yeaaaa......I think the answer is obvious but I though I might as well annoy you and ask.

Oh yea...another question....what about a 2005 audi a4 auto...thought I should ask in one thread to limit the flaming. :)

since that's you pulling the trigger I would assume your dead... but the murano is good for low to mid 15 if everythings perfect, so unless you had to give a really huge person a ride into town to shop at omar the tent maker for clothes when the race took place you should be good to lay a whoopin..
the SRT8 that frequents milan pulled 13.5's 13.6's all day long so choose your SUV's carefully... just a warning

Cool, didn't think I'd have a problem but why not ask. But yea he doesn't have any mods, it's bone stock.

But what about the 05 a4 with no mods?

RE: SUV's??

I had an older lady (late 40's early 50's) pull up next to me in a cayanne at a light. She revved her engine and I thought she was just kidding til she took off like a bat out of hell and left me sitting there. Next light she rolled down her window and asked if I was racing or not? Light turned green and we both go hard this time. I put a 2 lenth lead on her but never pulled away and her car probably weighted twice as much as My car. I gave her a wave and she gave a smile & wave back and we parted ways. She was actually pretty cool. I hope this is not how my wife runs around in my car when I'm not in it with her. Anyway some SUV's are no joke. The Srt-8, SS Trailblazer, cayanne or even the forrester shouldn't be looked at as an automatic win.

SS Trailblazer
only the AWD version... I ran a RWD one in the rain and after the slipping I pulled all day on it.... they are putting SS's on everything and soap box cars now... I think SS is turning into type R and GT-R as far as that goeas... c'mon a malibu SS?!

Those Murano's are doggs. They got the 3.5L engine, but in that heavy thing I would feel confident in a V6 Mustang going up against it.
