actually , the champion for USA drifting series drives s197 stang w/ 04 terminator engine w/ whipple s/c . just got done watching it alittle while ago on the tube .

yeah , I just know what I just seen on tv (not to much ). most of them use 240's , some rx-7's & supra's . mustang was the only V-8 w/ over 600 HP .

The kids "drifting" in civics aren't really drifting. You need a high horsepower, rear wheel drive car for that. But that guy driving that car in the video is insane. I love how they were f-ing with the cops, hahahahaha. [sm=roll.gif]

Actually many of the professional Japanese drifters like the American cars and were happy to see the likes of Mustangs, Vipers and GTO's join the drift circuit. One of the guys from Team Orange, I believe, had the hatch cut out of his Sylvia to make it look like a pick up truck because he likes American trucks. Many of them could care less what you drive. Your worth is proven by how well you drive.
