Even with a 100hp shot of nitrous it would still be a close race. He's putting out almost 100 more hp than you. I have a 99 with full bolt on's minus tb and plenum and a stock 98-02 f body can still beat me.

If you got full bolt on's: exhaust, CAI, TB and Plenum, gears etc. and then went with the nitrous you would probably get him.

And dont let the auto f body's fool ya, the ones ive seen are just as fast as the standards.

I have a 97 gt and my mother has a 99 SS camaro and me and my friends took them out to the track. I had almost full bolt ons and still could not beat it. It took a 100 shot of nitrous and M/T ET Streets. to beet it.

Until you change the stock intake/cams on a 96-98 GT you might as well just stick to racing Hondas. All the boltons don;t add up to squat because at 4500rpm's the stock intake/cams chokes off flow and the car falls on its face. That is why the PI swap is so popular.

The first thing you need is the ability to read sticky threads, located at the top of the page.
