I was on my way home and i look in my rear view mirror this yellow stang with racing stripes comes up next to me, looks at me and laughs. I guess he was laughing because im driving a 4 door with exhaust that sounds damn nice. Once he was done laughing he gunned it to go past me. I flat footed it and blew his doors off. I think there was at least a bus or 2 between us, i think we were going 70 when we gunned it. I let off at 115 and slowed back down, he wouldnt look at me as he continued on his way. =) made me happy

Nice kill. Any other pics of your car? I haven't heard of too many people modifying those.

thats an aurora right? FWD, 4.0 L ( maybe? ) V8... lol havent heard of many fast aurora's

aurora is a heavy car but packs a decent amount of power. i was looking at a late to mid 90's which was said to have 240hp and 330ft-lbs torque.. not bad for a grocery getter

yeah oldsmobile aurora, they have 260hp stock from the factory. Exhaust adds a dyno proven 20hp (to the crank). Lots of drivetrain loss though. I had planned to make this car a sleeper from hell, but i found a great deal on an iroc 5 speed so im trying to get it. If i do keep it ill be sending it to CHRF for port and polished heads and new cams / pistons. After that it would be around 300fwhp and that would make me happy. But for now im satisfied with beating stock non-pi GT's in my granny car. Ill get some pictures tomorrow if i can. Ive got to work on it anyway.

That would also make it the fastest known Aurora, which has been my goal.

Sounds pretty neat. What do they go for these days (buying price)?
