VR4 Vs me
 

I finally got to race a VR4 that Ive wanted to race for awhile. At first he did the Ricer Flyby. Then he got next to me, going about 20-30mph, was talking, to him then he just GUnned it, me in 4th(he said he didnt Street race the night before) Downshifted into second with him 1/2 car ahead didnt pull, untill I hit 3rd then i just WALKED past him.

This only really felt good because its a Family friend of my Gf's Family,(he has always LOVED my GF) and he was talking shytt about mustangs being slow and after i get a supercharger i will be able to contend with him, yadda yaddda i just smiled and hoped this day would come... Now he was like " yeah when i get my next leave(airforce) we will race again and he then listed EVERYTHING he is *Going* to have done"


but o well, fun inght for me, We were leaving my GF's so it was just me and him no one to Video it.. Ill try to set it up again 2 night.

What year VR4? The '97 was a mid 13 second car.

yea he was prolly a bad driver, there mid 13 second cars, so you shouldnt have just WALKED him.. but either way good kill, and way to put an ass in his place.

The pre 95's were 14 second cars, so it's possible to walk them with a modded GT.

VR4s run 13s...with the AWD launch help. They are a heavy car easily at 3800+ with driver. I'm not surprised that you walked him hard from a roll. From 91-99 it's all the same car. In 94 they upped the boost 2 pounds(20 hp) and added another gear(6th).

Unless you were talking about a Galant VR4 and that's just wrong:D

my buddy bought a 98 vr4 stock and the first time at the track he put down a 14flat. probally coulda done better if he ran a few more times or didnt wreck it 2weeks after he got it..lol

anyways good kill they can be fast cars
