My friends wanted to go cruising last night. One of my friends who recently bought a stealth twin turbo wanted me to drive his car because he wasn't good at driving it yet. So We ended up going on a 150mile+ cruise.

Everyone was always talking about my other friends 300rwhp silvia and how fast it was. So I asked him if he wanted to race the stealth.

The first couple races he kept missing 3rd gear. So he let his friend drive his car(this dude can drive damn good).

Both cars had 3 people in them.

Now sure on the mods on the silvia but I do know he has 300rwhp(saw dyno graph) and what I can see was:
AEM standalone
huge front mount intercooler
different turbo manifolds(still on stock turbo.. he said it was at 10psi)
tial BOV
full exhaust(no cats or mufflers)

the stealths mods:
k&n filter
mbc(14psi)
gutted cats

1st clean race(he wouldn't go from a stop on ANY races):
We start off from a 1st gear roll. 3 honks and we are off. I pull about half a car and he keeps inching on me but then when he shifts I start inching on him. We went until I was in the TOP of 4th gear. I was about 1/2 car ahead of him. We were going WAY too fast for the road so I just shut it down.

After we stopped to get gas he said he wanted to race again, but from a 2nd gear roll. And I then noticed he made one of his passengers get out and ride with someone else (they were trying to be sneaky.. I didnt care though)

2nd race: We have 3 people in the full weight stealth and he has 2 people.
From a 2nd gear roll I brake boosted and we then took off after 3 honks. By the top of 4th he was 1-2 cars ahead of me. We did it again and same results.


Considering the stealth was pretty much stock and the silvia was modded pretty good. I think we did good. If we would have went from a stop.. we would have owned him. He was HIGHLY upset when we stopped at a gas station. He was like "BULL****.. this car is not stock... how much boost you running??".. I just laughed and explained. He didnt believe the stealth only put down a little over 300awhp and was 3900lbs+3 people.



Makes me miss my vr4...

what year "silvia"? and where do you live...unless you live somewhere other than the US, dont call it a silvia, youre only going to confuse people.

a silvia is a long running car in japan...we have known them as the datsun or nissan 180, 200, 240, 280...

i dont know about the detuned part. im sure that whatever the high end is in japan, we havent gotten it in the states, but i could be wrong...ive not done much research on it.

Yes it is a silvia. Not sure which one. Either a s13 or s14. His dyno graph said 30x rwhp. He said he was running 9-10lbs of boost.

A stealth rt/tt is a vr4 with a dodge badge. The stealth is capable of running high 12s or low 13s the way it is.

I was honestly surprised because I thought his silvia was insane(from what I heard)... im glad I put him in his place...

The guy owns about 10 240sx's and 3 silvia's. He sell them and builds them. He is currently building a 400rwhp+ silvia for drifting, which will be done in a few months(61mm turbo)

im aware of what the RT TT is...and i would mind seeing some 12 second video of the car.

in Forza for the X-Box they do high 12's.... that be real life dawg.... it's a simulation, so that means ALL of them must do 12's [8D]


I see mid to high 13's from them at the most... although I have yet to see one run... just a guesstimate

i think that the RT/TTs are good for low 14s stock, but i havent seen one at the track for quite a while.

i believe that the later Vr4s were faster...

if a vr4 is running 14s then:
1. their car has BAD boost problems(most do and dont know it unless they have an aftermarket boost gauge)
2. they dont know how to launch it or drive it

Whenever my old vr4 was running 6psi(bad boost solenoid.. stock is 12psi) I was running high 13's...
after:

no rear seats
hotwired fuel pump
k&n filter\
underdrive pulleys

I then ran a 12.7@108 w/ a 1.7x 60'

the stealt rt/tt is the SAME EXACT CAR as the vr4. I used to own a vr4.

It is the EXACT same car except for a different front bumper and rear bumper(including different headlights and taillights)
