It's a driver's race. I've seen stock LS1's stay up with Termi's. If he's stock you should be on top.

i got a friend with a no **** stock WS6 we go to the track and i beat him buy about .5 of a second usualyl he runs 13.2 and his reaction time is about .3 so you should be ok id hope to hell you can beat that with a supercharger cause i know your numbers are better then mine as long as you can drive your good to go.... but i agree with the above post you put a nasty cam in that ws6 you got some probs....

I held a car length on a stock LS1 through 3 gears I really don't see it keeping up with a well driven 03/04 cobra.

How is it a drivers race when the LS1 averages 13.2-13.5 and the Termi does 12.4-12.7??

This shouldnt even be a race. The only way he'll beat you is if you cant drive. You have about 100 more hp than him.

The only reason a stock LS1 can keep up with a terminator is because the termi is harder to launch. Watch a termi and LS1 race from a roll and its a different story. I got killed by one last week going from a roll.

a stock ls1 z28 or trans am put down 285-290whp. That is not the ss and ws6 though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't the ss and the z28 have the same engine and everything? Just a different body, right?

Wow..I can't believe this still comes up. An LS1 is an LS1 is an LS1. Either a SS or a Z28 or a WS6 or a C5 Corvette...they'll all put down near identical numbers. They'll all dyno b/w 300-320rwhp stock. It's been documented millions of times, even in Mustang magazines.

Oh yea, about the mostly stock part, I still consider my car to be mostly stock. Still got stock heads on the car, it must be nearly stock. So be careful.

Its not a drivers race, its not even close. Your low-mid 12's, he is low-mid 13's. Unless he's hiding spray then he has no chance, and if hes got a 100 shot its still just a drivers race.
