very good race against a new edge GT, video coming soon
so on my way to a mustang meet tonight, i pull up at a light next to a silver new edge GT with bullit wheels. more accurately, i was at the light first, and he pulled up next to me. anywho, the speed demon in me immediately sees a race. i look over, see the kid checkin out my car, id say he was about 19. i give it a quick rev, ask if he wants to run em. he asks what i've got done, i say just an intake and a tune. he then asks me if its the 6 or the 8 (which leads me to believe hes not like a mustang information base LOL). so i tell him its an 8, and prove it by kicking the go pedal and winding up the rpms to about 5 grand. he understands. so then i ask him what he's got done. bbk x pipe, flowmaster catback, K&N CAI, and BBK headers (i would assume shorty). so he comments that its probably not a good road to race on, but i thought it was. not much traffic, wide road, good for a quick run to 60. so the light turns green. we both launch, but we both spin. i spun all of first gear. like, all of it. i fudged the launch so badly. but apparently he did too, because i was in front of him the whole time. we shut it down at about 55, he says he spun, i say i know man, but still good race. then we go our seperate ways.

You can barely see your face dude, it is cast in a shadow and you have a hat on. I wouldn't be worried too much.
Good race, you had about a car and a half on him at 60. It would of been way more if you kept going.
His car sounds great btw.

id be interested to see what would have happened if we both had hooked. i spun and caught at 5500 RPM, if you listen really closely you can hear the wheelhop as i get traction.
his car sounded absolutely fantastic.
