That 350Z didn't know...

What he was messing with, I decided to take the Mustang to work today, when I do this I drive it very mellow (race gas is too damn expensive!!). So I'm ona shortcut side street, nobody behind me one second, the next a blue 350z is climbing up my rear end. I think to myself, self, why do they have to shove their cars right up your arse? I answer, why does a Bear crap in the woods? Same reason!

He stays there until we get to a main street called Winfield, I turn right and there is traffic coming so he waits for a car and shoots out after it directly behind me, again close enough so if I tap the brakes we get to kiss. I go just fast enough to give him room on the right he floors it and as he gets to my side I nail it into 2nd gear and put a couple of bus lengths on him and wave bye bye.

A little further down the road he starts to pass me on the right and as he goes by he has this smirk on his face, I gave him a thumbs up because his car was nice and he is no longer on my bumper. The rear had some kinda name like mismo or nismo crap I don't know and some graphics on it.

Nice car, slaughtered, end of story.

Next up I have a death to tell you about, it's in my Fusion (yeah yeah I know). Yesterday I was on my way home when lo and behold a black S197 Mustang GT is in front of me, very nice! Bone stock from the sound of it.After a few miles we end up next to each other at a light and I figure what the hell, why not see if he bites? The light turns green and I floor it, he nails it too and stays just far enough ahead to rub in the fact that he could leave anytime.

I got next to him and the next light and told him I have one at home but wanted to have some fun, he laughed and we drove off. It is really amazing watching the S197 taking off when you're not in one, it was a death but a fun death and who cares when you're in a Fusion. Maybe I'll hunt down a Monte Carlo to kill so my Fusion feels better tomorrow...

The guy in the Z was probably hoping for a nice stock Stang to line up with and try his luck.:D

I'm sure he was, I was actually going to let him get about a car ahead before hitting it but felt an attitude correction was needed right away since he was so well glued to my cars anus for so long. ;)

There are a few NISMO parts like headers, exhaust, intake, you can get for the Z, but they don't do much. Nice kill......;)

NISMO!! That's it! His car sounded good when he went by me later on so maybe he had some of them installed. I also realize there are Mustang drivers out there who tail gate so don't think I'm just singleing out a 350z. ;)

Aside from the convertable I think they are sweet looking cars.

Nice kill. I do like those cars; they did a good job with them. It would have been sweet to give him a little rope and then use it to hang him. I was in Germany last year and a guy at the plant where I was buying off a machine at had a Black/Black vert. He said it was fun to rip down the AB.

My wife served in the Army back in the early 80's and was stationed in Germany, she loved it there, not much for her to drive back then but she had fun running aroundin the military jeeps!

Yep, NISMO is Nissan's motorsport division. Kinda like Dodge's SRT; BMW's M division, etc. They make real-high quality parts, but they're more expensive than their aftermarket counterparts, and don't off as much power in most cases. The good thing about them, though, is they can be dealer-installed and financed w/ the car. They're also covered under warranty. I had a few NISMO parts on my Z, and they worked well. Their exhausts are probably the best-sounding system out there for the Z.

As for their looks- I too, hate the roadsters.[:'(] I think they look terrible, especially w/ the top up. I bought my '06 Coupe NEW for 3-grand cheaper than a USED '04 roadster.......

But if you could get Nizmo parts warrentied like chevy did with the Cobalt SS staged kits then they are worth the extra money.
