04 Cobra -vs- 08 LS3 (A6)
My buddy in his '04 Cobra is going to race his brother in his new '08 LS3 (6 speed auto).
The Cobra just has a K&N, the Vette is bone stock.
Who should I bet to win the quarter? Will the LS3 pull the Cobra on Top-end?

what modds are done to the cobra? i think the ls3 are 430ishhp, and mid to low 12 1/4 mile. so ur buddy cobra going have to be pushing over 400hp to the wheels and prob run close to 12 flat.
& thats if this ls3 is stock. ls3 is only in the vette right now right? and they weight alot less then termi.

vette +1 on pulley and tune maybe exhaust then bet to get his mod money back
the termi driver must be good to win with these mods tho

Vette should win since the termi is stock. I did put a couple of cars on the LS3 vette but I am putting down a lot more than 400 hp. Most drivers will get 12.3-12.5 range out of the LS3, but I think perfect night, perfect conditions very low 12's is possible, not so sure about 11's. But maybe

ohhhhh yes it will. during a dyno day an 03 cobra dyno'd 400RWHP with just catback, they put in a K&N filter for the second run and it dyno'd at 425RWHP.
