what a good 60'ft
Just wanted to know what a good 60ft is for my set up. I have been 2.0 w/o the x pipe. And want to get in the 1.9
a perfect 60 a good 60 a bad 60 a ok 60 also will 4.10's help my 60 if i still have the stock tires |
RE: what a good 60'ft
What are all your mods? If you have stock gears, I doubt you'll break out of 2.0's and Yes, the 4.10;s will help if you get traction.

RE: what a good 60'ft
they will still help with stock tires as long as u can launch right and not spin too much. but with some stickys they will help A LOT. a 2.0 is very good if u only have a x pipe.

RE: what a good 60'ft
My best 60 used to be 2.2. After the moser rear with 4.11's and eaton posi and a spec stage 2 clutch I'm pulling low 1.9's and think I can hit a 1.8 on bad street tires. Track prep has a LOT to do with it. if you ccan find a nice solid track your going to do better., For me with my factory gears I would eaither bog off the line or spin the tires. With the 4.11's I no longer bog so I can just dump the clutch REALLY fast and the TQ multiplication of the gears will not alow it to bg at all. this way I leave the line hard without spin. Just take time and work on your set up and launch. it took me about 10 track runs over 3 different days to hit a 1.9. practice practice practice...

2.0 is pretty good w/ your car, 4.10's are gonna help w/ a good tire.

RE: what a good 60'ft
Get a set of drag radials and some 4.10/4.30 gears, lower control arms, and exhaust and you should see a low 1.9 to high 1.8's if you're a good driver in great weather on a sticky track. ;)

RE: what a good 60'ft
Thats all your giving him JD? if I had control arms and drag radials I would be hitting 1.7's at least. I still think the 2 biggest factors are track and driver. Like I said. Prectice practice practice. I went from running 2.1's to running low 1.9's with the same set up on the same track. Just kept working on it. Thats a hell of a difference. I think with DR's and control arms and a lot of practice he should be at LEAST in 1.8's and probably better.
