Someone here in the Port Huron area is trying to get approval for a sports complex that includes a 1/4 mile track. Unfortunately the article doesn't have the drawing that was printed in the newspaper.

I was hoping to attend the township board meeting where they discuss the project this week, but I havea prior commitment on Thursday night and won't be able to make it.

That would be pretty sweet....its still probably about the same distance as Milan Dragway from my area (unless I'm horribly mistaken)...maybe they won't be as busy as Milan.[&:]

...ok scratch the distance, its about twice as far. [:@]

One of my co workers dad is trying to buy it he offered them 1.5 million for it. They have not said anything though. Anyone know how far it is away from me compared to lapeer?

Iwhine, if you are in Macomb I think it is closer to you than Lapeer. The location is just off I-94. Head up I94 toward Port Huron, get off at Gratiot (Marysville exit) and turn right on Range to go back about a half mile, or get off at St. Clair and maneuver around the back of St. Clair to Range and go about 2 miles.

I'm hoping that he gets the approval, would be nice to have another track with Ubly closed, and to have a nice track where it isn't quite as crowded as Milan. Plus it is a lot closer for me.

and that would be f'in sweet if they got one in port huron, that's only 20-30 minutes from me

i live in macomb, and thats exactly what i would do. m-59 east to i-94 north to port huron
