1996 Mustang Cobra vs. 20XX Dodge Viper??
Yeah well here it is. My service writer has put 50k into his 96 Mustang Cobra, dropped the 4.6 DOHC and threw in a 12psi S-trim 351 bored .30 over and built to the tizzle. Putting down 650+ to the wheels. Im gonna get pics when ever i get a chance. Well i took him for a ride in my GT today because i put SLP Loud Mouth 1's on. We went and picked it up. And he was driving home today and this is what i got for a voicemail cause i wasnt able to pick it up, i was napping 
"Hey Boston... Youre a car homo, you know how much HP a brand new VIper puts out? I guess its not much cause i just whooped this things *** on the highway. What a ****ing dissipointment. Anyways...Looks like there REALLY isnt anytihng that can touch me around here.... So yeah i'll see you at work tmrw. Oh yeah... vanity plate reading "viper". Buh bye!"
I'll get more info about it tmrw and im gonna go for a ride and see if i can go find him...I'll take PLENTY of pictures for ya. Hes putting SLP's on it and replacing the headers. Blew the head gaskets and the headers got hott and tweaked. lol.

Just took it today when he took it out from storage. We are both white, and both SN-95's. I'll get more of the monster engine.

you see my sig below, i pulled on an early 90's viper w/ my car, but i was told that i have nothing for the newer vipers. he's got a fast machine if he beat him as bad as it sounds. tell him i said good kill!!!

I got kinda excited when i heard too.... I just tried to find him... Only thing i found was a civic to play with on the highway....:yawn..: and a Subaru Outback. lol....

You've GOTTA let me know all about that car. Thats my dream ride. Obviously I have a 98 GT and have wanted a built to the hilt 5.8 in there. I will not stop until my mission is complete. PLEASE give details. What type of induction, FI or carb? Who built the engine? Was the swap a total PITA or what? Anyway, Ill keep checkin back until I talk to ya. I have to have the 351. I love the modular, but for brute force and power you just can't beat the pushrod. Is the engine a Windsor or Cleveland? Most Ive seen are Windsors, but you never know. That is the best story Ive ever read on this site.
