its a auto, even though it is a auto i can start off in 1 and then when it is time to shift i put it in D and as soon as it shifts i pull it back into 1 and that causes it to stay in 2nd and then when it is time to shift i put it into D witch now it hits 3rd and then when it is time to shift again i put it into over drive. sounds like it would mess the tranny up but it works.

you better shift right at every shift point, cause im with 93 lx 5o, i bet he flies by you around the 55-70 mark. i have an AOD too, but the 1-d-1 shuffle tore my first gear out, so i built mine. i put all new internals, a lentech valve body with a push button overdrive, and a 3500 stahl. so mine tranny would keep him on his toes if i could hook, but a stock AOD, get ready for him to talk trash.

this is the 5.0 tech section, not street strip section, but anyways my buddy has one and i raced him and i have very similar mods at the time. we raced from a dig, i spun, he jumped and i started to catch him, then we raced from 20-30 and i pulled a car length or so in front and kept increasing. only difference is my car was bored .040 over and i had 3.55's
