Bye Bye Chrysler 300
Well the story goes as told...
I was driving home from work, and I had a younger guy in chrysler 300 pull past me while I was slowing down towards a red light. The dude had his stereo blaring, and he had an exhaust on his car. I got that stare that everyone loves/hates when I finally got to the red light. I couldn't tell you what type of Chrysler 300 it was, but all I know is I hate those cars since they are like the ghetto cars of today. I always see like 44" rims on them (exaggeration), and this dude looked like a punk. No revving or anything, but as soon as the light turned green it was GO! I never go from a dig, but I know I took off about as perfect as I could, and left the guy right off the line. I shifted into second squealing the tires, and then slowed down because there was another red light, plus I was turning left onto a highway. I got up to about 50 before I slowed, and I must have had the car but about a car already, and it felt really good. I always heard these cars were pretty quick, and knowing my car from a dig was quicker was awesome! GO MUSTANGS lol.

The SRT8's are quick, no doubt but those cars are anchors. I rented a 300C (hemi) version when they first came out on a business trip to El Paso, TX. Nice interior and nice car (hell, the security officer at one of our ports of entry into Mexico was more interest in the car than seeing my USDOT badge!) but realllll slow.
I rented an Audi S8 next time and had a lot of fun in that car. They can keep the 300...

Let me explain something to you in as nice a way as possible. My S197, setup like it is, would practically RAPE a hemi 300C.
In fact, my S917 stock (as slow as it was) would still beat a 300C by a pretty good margin. that's a fact.

Yes, of course your modded one would. A stock S197 GT is faster than a 300C, but not by a big margin. The margin can easily be made up, it's not like its SLOW. I'm okay with you calling the 5.7 LX's slow if you say the same for the S197 GT, but you can't call one slow and the other fast.
