Awesome ET for that trap speed! :O
It makes me wonder what my bucket could do with 4.10s, a 3500 stall, and some tuning. Hmmm...
Yea, 107 is a bit low, I did 109 before the 3500 stall and M&H DR's
My previous run was 12.41 @ 109.35 with 1.831 60' with BFG 275/40 17 DR's and Stock Converter
This time I am running M&H 275/50 17 (taller tire by over 2")
and 3500 stall but I had a head wind of 15mph, and our cars are bricks when it comes to aerodynamics. Also could be just adjusting the shift schedule to compensate for the taller tire?
Here are the two times together
60'-----330'----1/8-----MPH----1000'---1/4------MPH
1.706--5.039--7.833--88.68--10.299--12.389--107.73
1.845--5.158--7.936--87.91--10.357--12.415--109.35
I know all about those friggin' headwinds. Last year (still with the stock converter and suspension) I ran 12.79 @ 109.95 on a 1.98 60 ft with warmer air but no headwind. The time in my sig was from early this season with colder air (good launch and 1/8 mile, a full tenth better then my previous best 1/8) but I got knocked down a bit on the top end because of a nasty headwind, hence the lower 1/4 trap speed. With that cold air but no headwind I'm sure 12.6 would have been easy.
