Talking back at track, plus camaro z28, bmw m3, mustang spray

Ok so i went to the track last sunday for the first time and ran a 8.95 with a best of 2.15 60ft in my 08 GT manual. Went back again this friday and ran a 8.77 with a 2.1 60 ft. Is this good?
Also, at the track i raced a 02 z28 camaro with full exhaust and intake, and took him!!!
Then coming back from the track i noticed a bmw m3 probably 04 running next to a sn95 GT, so the m3 gets next to me and we honk it off, we took off the same and we stayed right next to each other the 1st tiem, BTW i ran both of them about 4 times each!!!!!! we just kept honking it off. M3 pulled on me 1 time and i pulled on him 1, other 2 were dead even.
Then the sn95 came along and i think i could hear his spray. Anyways, he got me the first time because i missed 3rd (had two cups in cup holder). I pulled on him next 2 barely, and on 4th one he backed off because SPARKS started cm=oming off his exhaust!! haha good races though and ppl gave thumbs up. Boy what a day of racing!!!

nice runs....

8.77 with a 2.1 60' on street tires is average. Good would be 1.9 60' and 8.5-8.6

I guess i asked for that one. I didnt know what he had but it made a weird sound almost like a hissing im not sure but it did NOT sound naturally aspirated by any means. What is a good 60ft time for a stock gt with CAI tune?

I think a 2.0 is an exceptional 60' on street tires with any car. Anything lower is pretty tough without a really well prepped track or DRs. Don't get me wrong, people pull lower times on street tires all the time, but its not as consistent as 2.0s and up. The lowest I've ever pulled on street tires was a 1.7, but i had a full suspension set-up and a good track.

2.0 is not really exceptional on steet tires, i agree with others. its average.

basically stock with 1 wheel peel and only a 215 tire i could pull 2.1 60's

as it sits right now my best on street tires is 1.88 with stock suspension with 44psi in the tires.
