05-06 manuals did. Not sure about autos. After that it became an option for both transmissions. Standard is now 3.31.
Ahah so this is controversial then yes. The LT1 may not be faster but it certainly isn't slower then.
And if that's the case then we can conclude a stage 2 wrx, not even an STI, can beat a stock s197 from a roll. Assuming this video isn't BS.
idk but camero lt1 vs s197 is a drivers race i think, im pretty sure of it also

sti can beat us off the roll and depending if a person fails off the hole that also but if u nab traction and go u be fine, stis are quick tho and same for evo
also 3.31 is optinal friend purchased a gt off the log with 3.55 gearing, can ask em to slap 3.73s of course im talking about manual and not auto idk if they do it for auto section but they should be able to imo.
evo
sti

So then what happened in this video? A stage 2 wrx, not an STI, beat this LT1 in a roll race. From what I can see they both started taking off at the same time. The WRX didn't appear to get a lead on him by going first.

LT1 and S197's are NOT a drivers race. Average times for an LT1 are low 14's, with great drivers hitting high 13's. Average times for S197 mid-high 13's with great drivers going low-mid 13's. The vid is not surprising...
--KBB is horribly wrong. Thats ~1000lbs off of the camaro's weight.
