I still don't see how any of you think a mod motor sounds better than a pushrod with a huge cam. Kinda amazing. It reminds me of my dads old hotrods. My .60x lift cam with LT's and dumps would set off car alarms by simply starting the car up....it was quite astonishing.

mines all stock and i thought it sounded pretty beastly when i 1st got it
my old car was a maxima with offroad Y pipe, magnaflow catback and a CAI and it sounded pretty damn good actually too though, definatly louder than my stock mustang

I think he's saying it not easy (cheap) to make the 2v's as fast as some other cars.

Took the car on a 2 hr drive today (1st trip with the 410's) and got nothing but looks and a couple thumbs up (yeah it's a 2V). Also its not cheap making a 2v fast, we al know this. It took me about 18mths to get where I'm at and gonna buy a S/C next year. Like I said earlier (in a different post) if I knew the weakness of a stock 2v I would have probally spent a couple more thousand and bought a Mach or maybe even a 01 Cobra... but I am very satisfied with my car and it has really become a hobby, especially since I bought my trk.
