2000 WS6 VS 2009 COBALT SS/TC
 

I seen this on another forum. I thought I would post because of the intresting results. I will also add the cliff notes and mods.

2000 A4 WS6
Mods: Lid, Longtubes, cutout, diablo tune, catback, LS6 intake,free mods, stock 3.23's
Trap Speed= 112

2009 Cobalt SS/Turbo
Mods: FMIC,CAI,Exhaust,Tune= 308 WHP 338 WTQ
Also beat a by two car lengths, M6 SS with 4.10, lid, catback

WS6 owner notes:
1st Race: 50-130
I got the jump, he pulled back in my lead and stayed even with me till 130 where i would start to pull away
2nd Race: 50-130
started pulling on him from the go, kept about a full car lead to 130
3rd Race: 40 Roll (my dead spot)
Dead even with him starting to pull
4th Race: 40 Roll again my dead spot
He missed a gear
5th Race: 30 Roll (my powerband)
I spun pretty bad, caught traction but he was gaining on me quick
6th Race: 30 Roll (my powerband)
Didnt spin, hooked and pulled a car on him, he wasnt coming back that time lol
7th Race: 45-120
i pull on him, he comes back but cant break my pull fully because the faster we go the more i start to get him topend

They were pretty good races. I believe I watched the video when it was posted on Cobaltss.net forums.

LOL, I freaking hate night videos aswell, and it seems like everyone always posts around 12-1pm that they're racing someone later on, and well around 12-1am comes around there is a video of a race that happened in the dark. People need to stop wasting their time and video a race in the daylight. Back to the race, it was a bolt on and tuned A4 2000 WS6 vs. a bolt on and tuned Cobalt SS/TC that was putting down over 300whp and 330wtq from rolls.

It is hard to seein the vid but in the notes I added everything to try and make it eaiser to understand whats going on. The Colbalt is no punk in this vid. Looks like it responds very well with little mods. This biggest coming from the tune.(40 whp)

Terrible vids! Not even worth watching, but the written results are pretty cool.

I think the vid was not the best quality. However the first race was the best in showing a lightly modded colbalt hanging side by side with a lightly modded LS1 to 130 MPH.

SS/TCs aren't slouches. I think they're the new SRT-4, LOL.

Wow...hate to say that id get beat by a cobalt :( lol. But i really like em!
