Default What's your big plans for this year?

Anybody got any real big plans for their rides for the new race season? I'm hoping to at the very least get a wider set of drag wheels and a new set of slicks. The old wheels I was using were PT cruizer steel wheels. They were only 6 inchs wide and the 8 inch slick would boldge so far over the wheel I was wasting 3/4s of an inch on each outer side of the tire. I sold the old slicks on my forum and the outside of the tires looked like new when I inspected them when they were off the wheels.I Plan to get a set of 7 or 7.5 ROTA race wheels this time around. If everything goes according to plan (which it rarely does) I hope to be getting a NOS system with adjustable jets from 25 to 75 and aim for low 11s. Lets hear all your modding plans & goals for spring.

Oh ****.

I'm planning on an aluminum drive shaft....!!!!!!! Not much else I can do that wouldn't be expensive and require a professional, except for a 31 spline rear end with some sticky tires.

I have considered a 6 point cage, but for DD duty it doesn't seem very friendly. I want to do full length sub frame connectors, but I'm not looking forward to making the already ****ty ride even more ****ty.

:\

Well my goal is to actually get to the track with the setup I finished last year, only changes being a new cam and weight reduction (started the weight reduction yesterday, damn front seats weighed in @ 72lbs each(!!)). Also looking at throwing in 3.23 gears in the rear...

Saw some sexy *** 26s and a kick *** gold grill that'd make my Charger stand out and be all gangsta and ****.

If I keep the car I am going to get the tune sorted out, try and pull some more weight out and shoot for a 10.90 on motor. There is another car I am considering in which case the Camaro would not see any attention this year. There is even a third car I am looking at but I don't want to jinx it by talking too much, but if I do get it to happen the car will be ignorant and a real sleeper.

JPC Intake manifold, Long tube headers, Vortech conversion from s-trim to t-trim, new axles. Hoping to get into the low 10s before the end of the year by uping the boost with the t-trim. Hopefully I wont have to get a new transmission, but its going to happen sooner or later.
