LOL, no.

Race gas and meth, I'm pretty sure. I'm going to have to give him a call and see what the details of the damage are.

dang that sucks. that's a lot of power to be pushing. over 600+ then decides to throw a 150 shot on it.. insane power!

A 150 shot on top of a 600hp blower engine is not the same thing as a 150 shot on a n/a engine. At least it wasn't the transmission.

What are they chalking it up to? Improper tuning or was it just to much for a stock block?

mikeysGT Apr 16, 2009 05:02 PM

stock block??? if it is then DAMN!

Watch the video on the regular youtube site. The transmission has already been fixed/replaced, the vid is posted on the right..... ;)

That doesn't surprise me in the least. I still find it just completely amazing that Nissan even had the balls to release the car with THAT big of an engineering flaw. I mean there's "oops" and then there's "Yeah, well, we just don't care." The GTR's transmission sadly, is the latter. I take it there's some aftermarket companies that have found the flaw, or some of the flaws, and corrected them?
