Went to the dragway... little dissapointed
First time I have been really since I added the Spydershaft, J&M Upper Control arm, and the Centerforce DF...
Last time I went my best pass was a 12.868 @ 108.38 & 12.985 @ 108.93 with a DA of -702 Heres a few of my runs. I was running 275/40/17 MT ET Radials. Track prep still sucked as the weather has been lousy so they dont even try anymore on street night. DA was around 150-350 13.065 @ 106.66 - 1.932 60' 13.070 @ 106.09 - 1.888 60' 13.057 @ 106.82 - 1.971 60' 12.994 @ 106.82 - 1.891 60' 12.985 @ 107.29 - 1.936 60' 12.967 @ 107.03 - 1.898 60' 12.976 @ 107.16 - 1.938 60' Little disappointed in my et/trap as I was shooting for 12.7 @ 109. But Im still happy, and very happy with my consistency |

what RPM are you leaving the line @? what pressure in the tires? those 60's have .1-.2 room for improvement in them IMHO
|
Were you at NED last night? I watched you make a ton of runs if that was you. The runs seem like the same times I saw.
|
Like Morbid said, seems like improvement to me. Worse DA showing up in your trap, but your ETs were not too far off. What were the 60 times on the runs made at -700 DA? I'm sure its safe to assume that there was a lot better prep when you ran at -700 DA, I'm sure everyone and their mom was out there that day.

I was leaving the line anywhere from 4000-5500 with good burnouts to heat up the MT's with about 14psi in them. I know there is room for improvement, this was my 2nd time ever using drag radials. Any tips?

My 12.868 run was with a 1.858 60' |
Looks like you still have a few tenths in that car with a better '60.
I need all my S/S buddies to vote for me for ROTM (see sig), please??? |

Any tips? how were you leaving? clutch dump? slip? bogging / spinning? define good burnout.... what MPH are you seeing and for how long and in what gear? 14psi on a radial seems a bit too low IMHO... 16-18 is more typical is your pinion angle ~ -2* or so? |
Look alright to me intervention. I'm just going to repeat what everyone else said about the worse DA, etc. Was your car bogging with you off the line, spinning, anything like that? Just wondering about your 60'.

My pinion angle? Well I am at a stock ride height, so I think I would be good? no? I know I have a slight vibration over 90mph, I just have never checked my pinion angle. How would that effect my launch?

I definitely hooked better last year. I will need to go on a Friday night when they prep the track |
