Yea im 18 i think having a faster car makes you more mature in a way, yea i had my fun with my gt when i got out but you grow out of it but with other guys my age they throw a CAI and exhaust on their car and they're ready to race anyone. Glad my fun is over now when someone my age pulls up next to me in a honda and they "take off" i just look at them and smile.

I feel the same about Subarus (The younger drivers, anyways). They're always trying to race me for some reason. I guess smoking a sixxer makes em' feel good , lol

i never get people that want to race me on the streets anymore. my wife gets more luck when she's in the solstice. she had a boxster with some kid in it (probably his daddy's chick porsche) rev up hard at a light. i was in front of her in my vette and gave him a loud growl and PSSSSHHHHHTTTT and made my turn at the light. sad thing is... my wife probably would have smoked him with her gxp.

agreed, im 18 also. i know for me, driving a loud, fast mustang has made me a much more aware driver since you always have to be on the look out for cops lol. but also i know that where other people in their camrys and prius' speed i will not because I know the dangers and risks of speeding down certain streets around here with cops and kids walking out into the street. I have been passed multiple times by prius' and camrys on this one street by my house and after a while ill pass them. they are pulled over being handed a ticket lol
