it did a bit it seemed, granted that GT500 was on the stock garbage F1's, if he had 315's on the back he might have gripped better and held him off till about 150mph, but after that it's strictly Z06 territory

edit: my bad I thought you were talking about the GT500, the silver GT DEFINITELY broke loose

I guess the aero really hurt the GT500 because I was thinking that the GT500 had atleast 150rwhp on the vette and 800lbs.

amazing how much hp 700-800lbs chews up....... wonder when is ford going to realize this and stop facking around with the gt500's..... cool vid though

Hell, the motor alone probably weighs twice as much as the LS7 in the Vette.....even without the whipple on it. Those mod motors are HUGE!

I was watching you tube the other day, a guy put this huge charger on his 8 sec Camaro (pure race) started it, burped the throttle in his garage. It lifted the left front wheel off the ground 3 inches and blew the head gaskets. I think this was from a train. The charger was probably the size of the engine block.
