He had a bone stock manual 2011 5.0 with only 50 miles on the clock(according to the owner). I knew I was outclassed if he had a good driver mod, but I just couldn't let a shot at a new 5.0 slip by.

1st run was from a 40 mph roll. We both hit it in 2nd. I was looking at his taillights by the time I hit the top of 2nd. He suddenly dropped behind me while I was climbing in 3rd. He later said he just got the car, and he missed 3rd because he's still not use to the shifter. His explanation made sense considering he was pulling on me pretty good in 2nd.

2nd run was from a dig. He spun real badly in first. I got a great launch. No sign of him at the top of 2nd. Still no sign of him half way thru 3rd. Looked in the rear view mirror, and saw him way back there turning off. He must have shut it down soon after launching.

I guess I could chalk these up as 2 kills due to a bad driver mod.
However, I remember all too well losing against a few lower powered cars that I didn't consider deaths because of missed shifts and spinning launches when I was getting the feel of my GT.
