had a run in with all these fella's tonight. first was the grand prix, not sure what it's got other than i know it's got a cam and a t67 with all supporting mods, but on only 10psi. last year he had a slightly smaller turbo and on his higher boost setting ran 10.5's at 120 something, but this is low boost i guess, but anyways, 30 roll...started in second and it was dead nuts, shifted to third and he pulled a fender, shifted to fourth and i pulled my fender back and at 125 we were dead even. very good race. now he's upping boost once he tunes it for it and i'll spray next time.

next i got next to a gt500(one of the first body style ones, like an '06 or something). at first he didn't wanna, was an older guy, at about 35/40 he just floored it out of nowhere, so by the time i downshifted and got in it he had a little over a car on me, by the end of fourth about 120 i had a car or more on him. it sounded stock, never got to talk to him.

then did a few dig raced with an evo VIII. mods are tbe, hard pipes, cai, and i think that's it. i just launched off idle every race, first race he tree'd me hard core, had prolly 3 cars on me, but by 100 i was back at his fender and a car ahead at 125. then did another dig, this time it was closer on the launch, he had a car on me i'd say, by 30 i was caught back up, but then he missed third. we're doin it again tomorrow tho.

i've got vids of the gtp race and the evo race, none of the gt500 tho(didn't expect him to do anything lol). vids will prolly be up tomorrow. also, this was all on motor fyi.

then again, I wish my car would run right for longer then a few days
(OEM style balencer ate itself. replacing with a SFI rated one)

thanks man. i'd of rather got a vid of the gt500 race tho. i came around him faster than i thought, and was very impressed with my car from it.

your car doesn't get attention? if you drove past the lot me and my buddies hang out at and got on it or revved it up, atleast one person would run out and try to get a race in with you lol.

I think it's just int he immediate area that i live in. Usually when I go down to San Jose (which is about 20 min away) I get a **** load of attention, just not by my house though. Not to mention i have the only American car of my friends, they all have audi's or imports....I need a new group of friends haha
