The 2 corvettes were within 10 minutes of each other, and both yellow vettes on a straight road. The C6 was from a dig at a stoplight after he threw a rev while cruising. He spun a little and i pretty much dead hooked and it was all over for him. Pulled hard and held the 3 car lead up to about 100 or so. Decided to get the camera out after this run but he turned off. While cruising on the same road another yellow C5 vette was crusing along so I decided to pace him in 2nd at about 40ish to entice another run with the camera rolling. He bit and mashed the gas but I was ready and waiting and pulled an immediately 2 cars and had to merge into his lane for traffic but he was just getting smaller in the rear view.

The 5.0 was actually what I was impressed with. Same road lol different night though, a young kid and his gf were hauling *** so i decided to show him up a little. Pulled up next to him thinking it was a 2010 GT with dealer plates. Boy I was wrong, it took all of 2nd (Sh&%) and half of 3rd (dammmit this aint no stock 4.6) to put the hurt on (ohhh now i see the 5.0 badges) and start to really pull away. The kid was cool though and we chatted for a bit, said he was gonna get an sc then we'd run again and told me to go pick on somebody else for now. LOL

Nice runs, and I've seen the 5.0's at dealers but never seen one driving yet

I haven't gotten to run any corvettes or new 5.0's since I got the blower on. Looking forward to running both

I drove one of the new 5.0 GTs a couple of weeks ago. It was hard to compare it to my GT though because it was an auto tranny and convertible with there were three other people in the car, so a bit on the heavy side. Plus I'm not used to autos and their shift points. Sounds like they're quicker than I thought.
