Well, yesterday I was on my way to Church and if you have read my previous posts in here you know that its a pretty common occurrence for me to run into a decently fast car on my way. Yesterday was no exception. As I was getting on the on ramp to the highway I see a black Nisan GTR pass by me in the fast lane. Once I get onto the highway I speed up and get next to the GTR. I throw him a rev and he just looks over and smiles then punches it. I have to say, that thing moved out quickly. He probably let out around 100mph or so and I caught back up. He was still going pretty fast so I down shifted to 4th and just held it there for a second. He nails it and were going around 80mph at this time. I follow suit, but the GTR put a solid car on me off the hit. By the time I was at around 100mph I had slowed down the pull and was about a 1 1/4 cars back. By 115mph I was about 1 1/2 cars back and the GTR shut down.

After that, the GTR and I ended up taking the same exit onto another highway but there was too much traffic to really do anything else so no more fun was to be had. I would have liked to get an even race in, preferably from a lower speed, to really see how well my car would have hung. Or even taken the hit to see how long I could hold the GTR off. Oh well, I at least got to finally race one which I have wanted to do for a long time.

It would have been nice to see the results at lower speeds. Good runs though.

Bro, those $80k cars can sure move, but it's not a Mustang lol. We can have just as much fun for a hell of a lot less. Have you seen how much insurance is for a GTR?

seriously though, you hung pretty good, these car are hit or miss taking out Z06's in the 1/4

although most of their strength comes from that first 1/8th mile so you factored that out wth the highway run

seriously though, good loss, not every day you run into one that's for sure

IMO a low low speed run would spell chicken mc.nasty for you all over the place... these things have pretty stout gearing for down low along with all the traction in the world
