Had a few runs on the way home from work the other night. They were all from the top of 2nd through the top of 4th. We were pretty much dead even through 3rd but after the 4th gear shift the Z pulled about 1/2 a car on me. I'm assuming he was stock because I've raced a few before with about the same outcome. If we stay in it through 5th I can usually gain some ground but it's just not worth the ticket haha.

my 1/4 trap was 116 I believe. Its been a few years since I've been to the track though. As far as 1/8 mile I really have no idea. The Z might not have been 100% stock I was just guessing

factory ratings on these cars are pretty close and both will take to mods well. I wouldnt expect a stock z06 to pull a c6, especially one with full exhaust. either your tune is off a little after the exhaust work or he was also lightly modded

A lot people have mods and a quiet exhaust. Could have been tuned or anything. Good run though for sure!

A guy I work with has a 2003 Z06 and it's bone stock down to the air filter. I was curious to see what would happen if we raced so we had a few runs last night. I pulled pretty hard on him so I'm guessing the Z I earlier was slightly modded.
