Exactly. I used to have a civic, it was fun at the time but I don't miss it. The maxima I had after that made me forget about the civic. My mustang made me forget about the maxima. I doubt I'll miss the mustang when I get my next car.

I paid $20k for my car. For that I'm sure I could have a 10second civic, but then I'd be driving a civic.

That has nothing to do with it. I've gotten my butt stomped by a Golf VW, Srt-4, and I'm sure there are a ton of civic's that would own me. My mid 13 second car is nothing to brag about. My point remains true, a fast civic is still a civic.

I had an 08 SI Sedan. Its not a civic, its an SI. Big difference, in all aspects, trust me. A fast Civic isn't just a Civic either.... its a turbo Civic. A factory stock Civic is in fact "just a civic", period. To put it into perspective, a GT500 isn't just a Mustang, an SS Cobalt isn't just a Cobalt, an SRT-8 Jeep isn't just a Grand Cherokee, an SRT-4 isn't just a Neon, an SI isn't just a Civic, and ISF isn't just a Lexus IS. Fast is fast, doesn't matter how its done.
I know this is done.. I just had to throw my 2 cents in, lol.

Good runs OP, and its always a warm and fun feeling when the other drivers AREN'T jerks about it lol.
I always seem to get the shaft when people pull up next to me, because they are either condescending, rude, or out to prove their moms DD is faster than me... No fun for any party involved. Just dangerous.
About the civic thing- I had a 4 cyl camry before my v6. And in spite of what others may have said/thought, I was damn proud of it lol. "Ignorance is bliss", and when it comes to cars that saying gains real meaning.
