3.7 vs 07 GT

Probably not speedwise for a while. I do want an axleback exhaust, probably Roush or MRT. Then some 18s, I'm thinking black or dark gray. Perhaps a wider footprint. I'd like to get the windows tinted. Then after all that a CAI.
I can't really afford to go too nuts with mods like headers, full exhaust, FI, or anything. I live by myself, have a house payment, house maintenance, dirtbike, dog, 11 aquariums, etc, stuff that really stretches out my paycheck. So I just try to do a little bit here and there on the Mustang.

Oh yeah, those 3Vs are strong. I would have rather had a 2010 GT than my car, I'm sure with equal attention they are faster than my 3.7. There were 2 Grabber Blue 4.6 GTs on the lot when I bought my 3.7, they were around 29K, and I bought mine for close to 24k. 25K I decided was around my limit. I triied to work the dealer down on the GTs thinking they would want to get rid of them before the 5.0s came in, but he laughed and said no way.
I think there is a chance I lost to a 3V during the Buckeye Brawl a couple of weeks ago.
Did quite a few runs, got smoked by some turbo and SC 4.0s. But I think I went against a 3V GT right before the thunderstorms hit, the lightning canceled out our timeslips on that run. I lost by a little bit but stayed close. There was a camera crew there to film every run, they make a high quality DVD of the event every year. Hopefully it will be here in the next couple weeks so I can show my car in action, even the races it lost.

I can give a little preview of what happened at the Buckeye Brawl V though. There was one other 3.7, with a manual tranismission, 3.73s, and DRs. They had a tune on it, but the car started to run funny and they removed it.
Here is my car there.
And here is the 3.7 I went against.
