Default At the track with the focus

Not doing so hot

Best run so far was a 16.8 @ 82. My sixties are all 2.6 or worse. It's my first time at the track with the focus and first time with a 5 speed.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Get that 60 down.

I think you could get it down to a 2.3 or 2.4...are you spinning a lot or bogging?

What 99 said.

I dont't think that's too bad either. Definitely some room for improvement, but not bad at all for your first time in the car and with the manual.

Working on it lol. Spinning is getting me 3.0s. Bogging is working better I guess? Lol

Way faster lol. And thanks. Taurus was getting 18's

One thing that sucks is I hit the fuel cut off in third before the end so I have to shift again

Ok I couldnt remember what the tauras ran I was thinking 17's but guess nit lol.

if you want good times try slippi.g the clutch from a little bit higher rpm. I know that isnt the best for the clutch but for better times on street tires it's a must!!! Good luck out there man!!

Haha thanks. I'll definitely try that next time. My car needs to be at like 2500 rpm before it starts making any torque so revving it up will def help

You will, no doubt about it. Just keep going out there and running her. What are your plans for the car, if any?

Oh I'll be out there plenty of times. I have a steeda cai on it right now. I'd like to get a tune, header and exhaust eventually. Nothing else planned really. Most people with that set up are getting ~135-140 hp at the wheels

Sounds good. I'm curious to see how it pans out on the track with those mods.
