Took down my parents. Lulz ensued.
So my mom, dad, little brother and I went to Applebees for dinner and drove seperately. On the way back my dad was driving with my mom in their 2005 Five Hundred Limited FWD. Basically every option but awd. It has the duratec 3.0 v6, 203 hp and 207 ft-lbs. It weighs around 3700-3800 lbs since it has every option (leather, power seats, etc). I had my 17 year old brother with me in the focus.
First run- We were side by side heading to a red light. We were both slowing down and it turned green when I was going like 15-20mph. Too high to get into first, went into second. Rpms were well below the powerband. He floored it and just raped me
Second run- Got to a stopsign and my mom counted to three. I slipped out the clutch to around 1800 and pulled a fender right out of the hole. By the end of first I was half a car ahead. Shifted to second at redline and dad got back within a fender. Ran through second and let out with him at the end of my car.
All in all some good family fun!
btw I was racing a car identical to this-

Not too shabby for a little 140 hp Focus. My buddy had that exact same ride as your folks. When i got my 240 hp Accord coupe he actually thought he would give me run. Needless to say i beat him pretty bad lol.

haha good runs, your parents seem awesome! my dad's buying another mustang soon and i'd love to race him just for ****s, but i'd have to do it when he's not with my mom because otherwise she wont let it happen, and deff wouldn't be counting it off! haha.

Sounds like fun! Unfortunately, I would never fare too well if I got in a street-scuffle with my dad, or stepmom for that matter. She has a ab/tune/intake '11 v6...... he has a procharged '11 gt
