3 races from a dig, 1 from about 20ish.
He has a 04 cobra with stage 2 clutch, diablo tune and cutback borola exhaust
vs me

First race I got him by it seemed a car and a half
second same as first
third I got 3 to 4 cars on him
Roll race I hit it a spun for a few, tc on still, then pulled hard and had a car on him and pulling hard before I had to stop, a hill was coming up.

Now I found I need better tires I had tc ON and still spun an fish tail all over the place but he never got past me, I also hit the rev liliter twice the first race and 1 time the second And I spun bad in first and second in all races. He said he missed a shift each race and his clutch did something weird.
I figure if I can fix the spinning and hitting the rev limiter I would get at least 5 cars on him.

Thanks guys it was awesome. I know we both prolly need driver mod and everything and i need better tires bad, but it's pretty cool that I spun so bad and he still didn't get past me. His car looks so sick it's a black termy with chrome cobra rims and he keeps it CLEAN the car just looks menacing.

On the dig, though: what gear were you in starting around 20? 1st or 2nd?

To help your traction issue, you could also look into a set of drag shocks/struts or some adjustables. With the adjustables, just set them to a soft setting. This will allow some weight transfer to the rear and help you plant more. I have some cheap-o tires (and 3.55s, where you have some 4.10s), so if I want some more grip on the street, I set my Tokicos to 5 front/6-6.5 rear. Doesn't solve ALL of my traction issues, but helps a lot.
