I noticed your name, MOS? Army Infantry here; stationed in Fort Riley at the moment.
well mixed results, 6500-6800 rpm's with mod's seems to be perfect

31b Combat MP (cross pistols in my sig) been out since 2004 though. Was at FT. Carson. 4th ID 3rd STB

I always tached mine out to 6800 at the track. Ran a best of 12.9 and a best trap of 109.9 with 4.10s, ORX, filter, and catback. For roll runs, if you're sitting at anything less than 4500-5k RPM, you're not in the right gear. Those cars do better down low than the older 4vs, but they still need RPM to do work.

Im planning on doing 4.10s on today, im getting a good deal on it ($400 parts and install)

We went to his performance shop and he purchased a dyno tune and myself, a regular dyno pull to see my base numbers.

His results after dyno tune.
Evo X Dyno #2 - YouTube

My results 3 base pulls
Mach 1 Dyno Run #3 - YouTube

We are going to go again after my 4.10 install, JLT RAI and Intake spacer to see what happens.

You also have to consider the rpm (power) your putting yourself into shifting early, going into the next gear. You might not be making peak power for that gear but alot of times it's more than getting in the next gear at lower rpm's.

Mine made power up to 6300 iirc, I'll look at the sheet to make sure, but either way its like PD said, you gotta look at what RPM your dropping down to goung to the next gear, etc.

Very Nice run.. I didn't know they still made the X's...

kept up real well considering your mods vs his. I think they're high 12 cars with those mods maybe better...

most xs I've seen run around mid 13s stock. Best run with my old x was down to 12.4 @109. The x here isn't far off from where I was at. I can't see the graph really well, but I think I was about 30whp up on him (looks like he's at 310whp).
