12.8 @ 110mph...guess the RWHP
So a buddy of mine has a 01 GT. Mods include On3 first gen kit, 6 psi, stock TR-3650, stock gears, catback and NT05Rs.
He went to the track this last year and ran a 12.8 @ 110 with a 1.9 60'. I'd say he's an average driver so he can bang gears just fine.
I'm curious, passed on the trap speed, what RWHP a person would be typically making to trap 110?
DA is pretty high during the warmer months (like 3500+). I think I checked once and it was around 4000.

Well when he got his car originally tuned it put down 380rwhp on a Mustang dyno. I thought that was very impressive for 6psi on a Mustang dyno even through a 5 speed. He then later got it dyno'd on a Dynojet and put down I think around 340rwhp but the dyno later broke down so he wasn't sure if that was accurate.
We went for a spin and he did a few short pulls. Boost gauge was reading 6psi and it felt good but wasn't overly impressive hence why I made this thread.
I was curious as to which dyno you guys think is/was more accurate. I'm leaning towards the dynojet since the 110mph indicates lower numbers than 380rwhp. He does plan on taking it back and getting it tuned for more boost. He was pretty nervous about running a lot of boost which is why he went with 6psi.

my brain hurts.

I didn't post the RWHP in the OP because I wanted people to give me a RWHP that they thought 110mph would make. I didn't want people coming in saying he wasn't making 380, I wanted a number people thought he was making.
That's what I was thinking. I thought 380 would put him in the high teen trap. I guess it's safe to say he's probably putting down closer to 340 then he is 380.

I would take into account the driver mod before trying to pin point his RWHP. I was guessing 320/330 on the assumption that the driver mod was there. If he's making 340 to 380 RWHP and only running 12.8 at 110, he just needs to keep practicing.
