The biggest thing that gets me, is the speed R & T got in the 1/4. 116 is a big enough jump down from the 125-127 mph #. No matter how they run it, hooking up or not, the top end speed shouldn't change that much. It would almost dictate that the car hooked well, but the 12.3 et doesn't show it. A 10 mph difference in the top end speed is a lot. We are talking about a BIG variance in reported #'s. Was the car sick? Did R & T not 'drive' it properly? -Or is this car truly not as fast as GM has reported? You gotta wonder.

Thank you. I was waiting for one of our brilliant LS1 guys to say something of the sort, but I guess that rule only applies to Fords or something.

Why are you so bitter man, you honestly have nothing better to do with your time than, cry like a little child about how the LS1 guys don't bow down to you. I swear it's like every couple weeks you get a hair across your *** and start in with your crap. Give it up already, 98LS1 has not even been on here in weeks yet you are the one who just can't let things go. Honestly most people here are sick of it, it ruins threads and contibutes nothing.

Where the hell are all of the LS1 peeps? We have not had a debate in some time now. Hope to see you soon[sm=badbadbad.gif] When the car comes out and we start getting actual numbers on it and then the Cobra come out we will have many debates on that.

What happened to 98LS1? I just lost my job and home from the hurricane and am now in Statesville NC (same town he lives in) staying with my mother untill I can find an Apt and job. I figured he would still be here. What did I miss?

I think in the real world, at real tracks, with real drivers (meaning not in a magazine) the Z06 will be a mid 11 second car. Why certain magazines get certain times, who knows. Quite frankly, i dont care.

And in the real world, the Z06 will be driven like most other Vettes on the road; by sissy old men doing 55 in the right lane and punking out from any challenges. I don't even know why they buy all that horsepower.

i dunno, every Z06 ive ran into has played around. Most regular C5's ive ran into puss out though. I have ran into two C6's (one being my mother) and they both played around too. usually the Z06 crew plays with me though.....
