Default Stanggurl Brings the Pain

Was out last night driving Stanggurl's car after picking it up. She was in the 5.0 beside me making some noise and just minding her own business as we headed back home. Out of nowhere this guy in a single cab Chevy truck with an exhaust tears right up aggressively and starts picking on her and revving while stopped at a light. This guy had no idea what he was in for. Light flicks green and I watched as she launched on him and tore him up to shreds. Next light the guy is at it again and he gets the same thing; launch and burnnnnnn. I laughed so hard. Nothing more fun than watching the mexi-macho type thugs get torn up by a girl.

Yep.. racing trucks is funny... I had a guy in a newer ford truck with a 5.4L ported/polished heads and cams challenge me at a 1/8th event I went to last weekend. I smoked him really badly... he said he normally races trucks, rarely cars, he didn't expect to get beat so badly.

Nice, around here we have lots of lightly modded diesels and some terrible custom jobs (redneck ricers.) A lightly modded duramax recently tried with me and really got hosed. I have seen some awesome diesels however and know they can get nasty, cool stuff!

Lol, good for her! You gotta be making pretty good power/tq to win many races in a truck. Can definitely be done however.

it'll take a lot more than a "chipped" diesel to take on a 5.0, and that is 99.9% of what you run into. My friend still thinks his old one would beat me before he sold it, chip only no other mods, duramax.

why someone would throw money at a 5.4 is beyond me, they are reliable DD motors, but not powerhouses

a spartan tuned 6.4 powerstroke or an EFI live duramax will hit 12s with nothing more then an exhaust, wouldnt want to pay the 15k for a motor rebuild when the warrenty is denyed for having a tuned truck, but it can be done

nice kill, guy deserved it

Nice laugh to start the week. It had to be fun watching the gal tear him a new one.

only 1 truck that i've seen has ran faster than me at my track, he ran a 12.5@108, he has a supercharger and n2o on an '03 SS, some sort of aftermarket engine, no idea what kind, it's possible it's just a built stock block. (although I still trapped much higher, I need a stall )
