First time at the track

Went to the drag strip for the first time ever with a friend of mine who is very familiar with drag racing. Was nice, because he offered up a lot of advice. Holy crap I was so nervous! Anywho, my best run of the night was against a Lexus LS-F. Dead even! (my numbers are on the left). This was at atco, and it was about 30 degrees out.

r/t - .159 -.038
60' - 2.190 2.278
330 - 5.812 5.861
1/8 - 8.707 8.725
mph - 85.81 86.47
1000 - 11.196 11.174

final et - 13.257 13.229

pretty addictive right? You'll get better with more practice. The car probably has 12s in it easily. Just a matter of learning to launch that puppy.

Not bad for your first time out! Very tight run with the Lexus.

Your 110 mph is good for a middle 12 run. Street tires are miserable to launch with. With some DRs you would knock off over a half second. Drag racing is addicting, I've been hooked since 2004.

Not bad! Remember, practice makes perfect. And good traction will improve your 60-foot times which pays off HUGE on the big end!
