Default New PB for the wife and me.

Took the Camaro to the track tonight. No new mods just really good air. My new best in the Camaro is 12.66@111.57. My wife struggled with the idea of having to leave the line a little softer when it's cold and blasted off a 18 and a 16 second spin fest before she finally got her first ever 12 second slip. 12.95@111.35. She followed it up with a 12.8 and finally a 12.69@111.71. The P-zeros were awesome for me, never got less that a 1.9 sixty.

Thanks fellas. It's fun to watch her. She's never drag raced before in her life so when things don't go well like they did at the start of last night she's like a frustrated little kid. Okbfd of course I'm voting for ya. We need the street & strip guys to turn out in force. Heavy competition this month over there in ROTM. Do me a favor and take the car somewhere scenic and snap off some pretty photos. ROTM is more of a beauty contest I bet you'll do well with that sexy car..

She was darn close. Here is her best slip compared to my slip. Mind you I didn't run any 16s or 18s My slowest slip was a 12.73.

Pretty impressive, BB. It honestly wouldn't take much at all to run a high 11 in that SS. I know thats not the plan, just pointing it out.

How do you feel about that car now that you've had it awhile? Just curious cause I still kind of want a new SS (not buying one, just want one, lol)

I dont like driving them at work, I'm a little guy and have a hard time seeing out of them. Driving around on the street might be fine but having to move them around the shop and on and off hoists sucks. Really really easy to work on tho! But, they're fat. lol.

Congrats on the new best tho blue! Shows how easy that car is to drive when two people got within .03 of each other. Pretty good for the mods too!

When the next round of mods go on I see low 12s for sure. A TB, gears and DR's are on the short list. It's a love/hate thing with the Camaro. I love the engine, styling! But being 6'4 and 250 head rooms is nonexistent. And you can't see out of these things to save your life. At the drag strip it's a lot of fun. In traffic it blows!
