Default New personal best!

A 1.87 60 foot! hey, that's good for me, even with drag radials. The run was a 12.6@112, but I'm pretty sure I let off before the end.

I didn't rev it much, because with my lowered suspension and stiff rear shocks I'm afraid it will just spin all of 1st. next time I will try revving it up and let the clutch out quick, without stabbing the gas. Someone tell me how to shift the tr3650 faster?

Oh, I have sand under my car they tell me. No **** I do, this car lived most of it's life on a dirt road. The tech guy even thought i had a coolant leak because of all of the mud stains on the coolant lines.

Congrats on new best. Didn't sound like you spun at all so leave harder next time and get the most out of those drag radials.

I'd keep launching exactly like that! Nice run, car sounds really good too.

Shifting faster just takes practice and a "don't give a ****" attitude. I wouldn't sweat it, sounds like you're shifts are really clean, so faster shifts will probably only give you another tenth anyway.

Really? A 1.9 sixty on drag radials out of supercharged Mustang and you'd keep launching like that?

Nooo

But seriously, if he keeps launching like that, he will eventually get a little more aggressive and confident each time and improve. He has the right technique imo, just needs to gradually turn it up a little each run until he gets that 1.6

Good clean run Moose, congrats. Put alittle more heat in the tires, raise launch rpm alittle at a time and you'll be in the low 12s before you know it.
