So, driving home from work tonight on the highway...I spot a Challenger ahead of me. His plate says "Hemi 370" so i know its a big boy. We hit a stretch of clear highway and I get beside him. He rolls down his window and gives me a thumbs up. I drop it into 4th and honk it off. He pulls out for a split second and then I put two car lengths on him and we shut it down about 110mph.

He pulls back up beside me and turns on his dome light on a to my surprise it was a Columbus Police Officer. Lol. He grinned and I turned white as a ghost and got off the highway quickly.

Yeah. He was in uniform. Those 6.1s are not as fast as I expected.

The 6.1s are only about 50 HP more than the 5.7 R/T. The big boy currently is the 392--soon to be superseded by the 2015 Hellcat (707 HP/650 lb-ft torque).

Cops like to have fun too, lol. Interesting run though, I've been curious how the 6.1 Chally does from a roll. Could you tell if it was an auto or manual?
