Default Got a 300S with the Daily driver

Not a great story or anything but was on my back home from the drag strip tonight and a guy who had left at the same time as me ended up pacing me once we hit the freeway. Slowed down to about 55 and i had it in 3rd. Didnt seem like he did this often so i took the hit and he stood on it i heard his downshift and the engine bellow and right as i heard his engine take the gasp i started pulling, was a steady pull to the top of third and i stayed in it to the top of 4th I'm sure he let off when i was mid way into fourth there was quite a gap. DD is a 2014 Focus ST, its not rocket ship but my buddy with G8 and SS are both shocked at how quick it is, fun little car for sure.

Took some pics at the grudge race tonight, sun was super bright and really washed them out bad so i had to edit the hell out of them which i hate doing but here ya go,

Glad to hear about your Focus, they are quick and nice looking cars for sure.

Great pic's by the way, but they all look like show cars compared to some of the stuff I see at my local tracks lol. Tell me you just left those out.......

Did you ever tune that ST, or check into tuning anymore? They talk like they pick up a lot.

Nice pics, a lot of money in those cars!

Tune is huge on those cars. I really want one but at the same time the engine scares me a little sometimes when i see the ring land nightmare stories. I'll be out of warranty by this time next year if i don't move closer to work so at that point it doesnt matter, i could get a great price on the Ford Racing tune but then i have to pay a dealer for the install to retain warranty... Not sure i want to go that route when i could spend a little more and get a much better package.

My buddy with the SS was in front of me the other day and he came out of a corner and stood on it and i was glued to his bumper the entire pull haha he wants to run it now. Told him i didnt stand a chance from a dig.

I could never believe how many pinheads (never the ones who raced, just the ones who watched) at Milan wanted to race me up 275 with the numbers still on my car not 5 minutes after leaving the track. I always thought that the $20 to race was pretty reasonable but I guess many are too cheap.

The 300S is the 3.6 right? Race your buddys SS from a roll and tape it. I was playing with a ST and was surprised how strong it was from a roll. It didn't give an inch to my V6 which is probably putting 275-280 to the wheels.

The 300S can be either the penestar V6 or the hemi.
