If you didnt know I have a 2008 Eclipse Special Edition.


I caught a light with a F-250 Turbo Diesel. While i was driving up to the light he pulled over into the other lane so I ended up next to him instead of behind him, as if he wanted to be next to me.

So the light goes green before I even stop really, we are going about 40? I sense him slow down and I downshift to 2nd gear and then hear him downshift. So at whatever speed we are at I am at about 4K RMPS which is great for me, that when power spikes. I hear his turbo spool up and I just punch it and hear him rev up. I basically stay even with him and walk him when I shift into 3rd.

Are these trucks pigs? I know my car isn't even in the same ball park as my 01 Gt was.

It's always a crap shoot with the black smoke crowd. Modded they can be beasts.

When modded correctly, that torque is really unbelievable. Seriously, my friends Dodge was actually very fast. Very deceiving with the height and weight, but that speedo didn't slow down when I drove it.
